Earlier this year we advised members Buildcorp was selected as appointed builder for our long-anticipated redevelopment project at Lidcombe. We are excited and confident in the appointment of Buildcorp, who share DOOLEYS vision and values of delivering best-in-class facilities for our members.
We are now working with them as our official construction partner and are excited to highlight the people and story behind the team. Buildcorp is a privately owned and operated commercial construction company, established in 1990 by Tony Sukkar AM and Josephine Sukkar AM.
Today Buildcorp has offices across the east coast of Australia, employ 520 staff and have delivered $7.5 billion in projects. They service a wide variety of clients with projects spanning multiple sectors across new building construction, fit-out and refurbishment, façade and remedial building, and joinery.
Throughout their history, Buildcorp has aimed to be a company of great character and reputation and in partnership with clients like DOOLEYS, have been able to deliver quality outcomes and be recognised with over 120 Master Builders Association awards since inception. Resembling DOOLEYS commitment to community support, the Buildcorp Foundation also heavily invests in fundraising for the construction industries biggest social issues including mental health and suicide prevention having raised $5M since inception.
DOOLEYS development scope is impressive, and we are thrilled to partner with Buildcorp over the next two years to bring our members the class leading facilities they have long awaited and deserve.
